Endophytes are microorganisms that colonize the plant host tissue. Endophytic colonies able to produce secondary metabolites in accordance with their plants, endophytes have been found every species studied date and recognized as a source of new natural compounds potential be exploited medicine. This study aims isolate obtain endophytic fungi test antibacterial against Staphylococcus aureus Escherichia coli. Plant samples were taken around village Mamben, Wanasaba. The research method used is experimental laboratory. was conducted by isolating identifying from nettle stems. Obtained type fungal strain using Potato Dextrose Agar (PDA) media. production obtained fermentation brown rice for month then macerated 3 days methanol solvent tested activity. extract stem contains alkaloids flavonoids inhibit growth bacteria highest concentration 60% an inhibition zone 18 mm. whereas, fungus on coli has not zone.
